Every once in a while, I read someone else’s blog post and think to myself, “I sure wish I’d thought of that.” Case in point: a comparison of Bobby Fischer to Icelandic outlaw Grettir Asmundarson.

The Tale of Charlemagne and Ralph the Collier, my 2007 translation of a 15th-century Middle Scots romance.

The Beallsville Calendar, a 2016 poem about the disorientation of moving from the city to the country.
